CareGrid started as an idea in 2011 based on founder’s personal journey of being a carer for a close family member.
The experience provided first-hand exposure of challenges associated with the role of being a carer, and how vulnerable the ageing Care Recipients could be to any inefficiencies within the public health and care delivery model.

CareGrid initiative started taking shape in 2014 in Australia with extensive consultation and active participation of Care Recipients, carers, aged and disability care service providers, primary and allied healthcare professionals such as General Practitioners (GPs) and Nurses, Nursing Home and Community Services teams, and as well as seasoned Digital Health and Technology Experts.
CareGrid is fully designed and developed in-house by DigiHealth Innovations at the company’s head-office in Sydney, Australia. This is achieved through ongoing and active collaboration with Care Recipients, Carers, GPs, Nurses, Nursing Home and Community Services Teams and Digital Health experts.
